Discover a window to the soul of the El Primero
Looking back at the legacy of the Zenith Defy collection of wristwatches, there’s a long and enduring tradition of El Primero chronographs within the line from as far back as the early 1970s. A modernistic vessel for a groundbreaking calibre, the Defy has always been perfectly suited for the El Primero automatic chronograph, whose high-frequency rate allows it to provide unwavering precision – even in highly animated and dynamic situations. With the same penchant for movement performance and modernity, the new Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton is the culmination of over 50 years of the Le Locle maker elevating the chronograph to new heights. In essence, it is the Defy chronograph of the 21st century — and it shows.
Every detail of the El Primero movement can be admired through the skeletonised version of the Defy Skyline Chronograph Skeleton, a creative concept allowing each moment of precision to be revealed through its sapphire crystal. Crafted from stainless steel, this modern approach of the model offers unparalleled functionality, performance and style. Its 42mm steel octagonal case with a faceted bezel, features an openworked dial with contrasting silver-color subdials. Powered by the skeleton El Primero 3600SK manufacture movement, a high-frequency automatic chronograph with the very first 1/10th of a second indicator. Delivered with both a steel bracelet and a patterned rubber strap that can easily be swapped thanks to Zenith's best-in-class strap changing system.
